blu Review

blu eCigs is huge in the electronic cigarettes industry.  They are one of the top marketed companies with tens of thousands of stores nationwide.  They have big name celebrities endorsing blu eCigs like Stephen Dorff and Jenny McCarthy.  They are making themselves one of the most recognized with ads in magazines, commercials, celebrity endorsements, and even managing to place their product in gift bags at the Grammys.

With all this publicity it made me wonder if blu eCigs really was that good or if it was just all hype.  I thought I would put that to the test and order one of their famous starter kits and put it to the test in this review!

What’s Inside

  • 1 New blu Premium pack with Social Features

  • 2 blu e-cigarette batteries

  • 1 blu Wall Charging

  • 1 blu USB charger

  • 1 5-pack cartridges blu-premium

blu eCigs’ Premium Starter Kit is what I opted to test out in this review.  The kit set me back $79.95, which is a decent price.  There are other companies that do offer a similar setup, V2 Cigs or Volcano, but blu is slightly cheaper then the rest.

The presentation of the product was very nice.  It came in a hard box, not the conventional magnetic flip top box, that was aesthetically pleasing.  When you open the box you are presented with the new Premium Pack from blu, underneath is where you will find the rest of the product including the 2 batteries, 5-pack of flavor cartridges, wall charger, USB cable and USB charger.  If you ever purchased an iPhone, this kit is packed pretty much just like the iPhone.

Blu eCigs does have a different battery type, a L88b, like Volcano, so if you have products from say V2 or GreenSmoke, that use the KR808D type, they are NOT compatible.

The new Premium Pack which is a portable charging pack from blu, has been redesigned and allows 5  cartridges and 2 batteries to be stored all in one sleek, clean, and durable case.  It has indicator lights on the side to allow user to see the amount of charge on the individual battery and the charging case.  The charging slot on the PCC now doesn’t require users to screw the battery in, just drop in the battery and close the case to charge, much more convenient.  The Premium case also has a “social feature” that when activated, if another blu eCig user with that same type of Premium Pack is within 50 feet it will buzz them which will allow them to know another blu eCig fan is around.

blu-feat

Everything else in the kit is pretty standard, wall charger, USB charger, mini USB cable.

Battery life and performance

blu-ecigBlu eCigs batteries are like most other manufacturers, except they are the L88b type which makes them incompatible with the KR808d types.  Like most electronic cigarettes that look like analog cigarettes, they have short battery lives.

Blu batteries last about 1.5 to 2 hours but with the awesome Premium Pack, you can extend your vaping experience for the whole night.  The blu Premium Pack allows users to carry 5 flavor cartridges, a full spare battery with cartomizer attached and one spare battery in the charging compartment allowing you to always have a spare battery and cartridges at the ready.  The PCC also has indicator lights on the side so you can see how much charge you have left on your electronic cigarette as well as the portable charging pack.

Both the Premium Pack and the batteries are offered in a clean white giving it the illusion of an actual cigarette or the black color which is very slick looking too.

Blu eCigs come with a 1 year warranty on all their batteries and products which is a nice added feature to protect your investment. The process is quite easy and they have customer service 7 days a week to assist you with your issues or concerns.

Vapor and Throat hit

I have to admit that I am a little disappointed by the vapor, it wasn’t as rich and as dense as some others I have tried that are of the cig-a-like type electronic cigarettes.  That doesn’t mean it isn’t a nice vape though because it still was a decent cloud of vapor.

As for the throat hit, smooth, very smooth.  If you are looking for a very smooth vape, I would definitely recommend blu eCigs.  If you’re looking for something that is a little harsh, I would recommend V2 Cigs or Bull Smoke.

Flavors

blu eCigs offers customers 7 different flavors to choose from. The flavors are from Johnson Creek, a leader in American-made e-liquids with FDA-approved ingredients.  Each batch is made fresh, by hand, kind of nice to know that what you’re “smoking” has standards that have to be up-held.blu-flavors

Again, coffee flavored e-liquids are my favorite and blu’s Java Jolt is the best I’ve had by far but of course that’s just my opinion, but we all know you trust my opinion :D

  • Vivid Vanilla

  • Cherry Crush

  • Magnificent Menthol

  • Classic Tobacco

  • Java Jolt

  • Pina Colada

  • Peach Schnapps

Strengths

High: Approximately 13-16mg

Medium: Approximately 9-12mg

Wrapping it up

I have to say, blu eCigs is not all hype.  It’s the Premium Pack and the flavor that really sold me on blu eCigs.  The look and feel of the blu e-cig and the PCC just felt right.  It definitely has a “cool” appeal to it and if you’re looking for something to be a conversation starter, the Premium Pack will definitely draw you attention!

The Good

  • Premium Pack

  • Flavor

  • Affordability

  • “WOW” factor

Bad

  • Weak vape

Bloog Review

Bloog is a company with a great reputation within the vaping community.  It has a great product at a great price.  Bloog’s innovative design allows for an amazing vapor and lets them compete with among the top electronic cigarette manufacturers today!  Bloog is also known for their amazing customer satisfaction because they understand that every customer’s needs are different and offer a number of options and kits for all level of users.  This is why I thought I would give Bloog’s Deluxe Starter Kit a try and put it to the test and see if it lives up to it’s own hype!

What’s Inside

  • 2 – 78mm Batteries

  • 2 – Velvet Battery Pouches

  • 1 – USB + Wall Charger

  • 5 Flavored Cartomizers

bloog deluxe sk

Bloog’s Deluxe Starter kit will only set back $49.99, which is a very fair price considering other major competitors, V2 cigs or South Beach Smoke, are charging similar or slightly higher prices.

The packaging is quite similar to other manufacturers and the graphics are simple and clean, so if you’re looking for something that isn’t flashy, Bloog is for you.

What you are getting is two 78mm batteries, two carrying pouches, a USB and wall charger, and 5 flavored cartomizers.  It is not jam packed with a PCC or a USB pass-thru or a ton of cartridges but it is enough to get anyone started on the transition to a smoke-free life! Now of course if you got the cash you definitely can get all that and more at Bloog’s website. You’ll also get a USB charger and a wall charger and 5 flavored cartomizers.  I was glad to see that Bloog offered two different sampler packs, Tobacco or Non-tobacco, in case you’re not sure which flavor you like, you can try several.

Battery life and performance

Bloog battery

Bloog uses the popular battery model KR808D which looks and feels like a real cigarette.  The downside to this battery has always been it’s battery life and unfortunately the Bloog battery is no different from the rest.  You’ll get about 3 or 4 hours of use out of the Bloog battery which is quite standard at the 78mm size.  Like most manufacturers, V2 or Bull Smoke, Bloog does offer longer batteries which do last a bit longer but I have not seen any company come close to South Beach Smoke’s SuperMAX battery which lasts about 6 hours in the KR808D style.

Bloog does have various warranties depending on the battery you select which is a nice comfort to know just in case something goes wrong with your battery.

bloog battery1

Vapor and Throat hit

I was very impressed with Bloog’s vapor production.  I have not seen this type of vapor production in a KR808D setup and that is even without priming the e-cigarette.  Even though Bloog’s battery is compatible with other cartomizers, you will not get the same vapor production.  It is the cartomizer and battery combination of Bloog that allows it to have that amazing vapor density.

Throat hit is there.  It’s quiet satisfying and it would be comparable to V2 cigs throat hit.

Flavors

Bloog has 15 different flavors for customer’s to choose from and as mentioned before there are two different sampler packs, Tobacco and Non-Tobacco flavor.  I decided to try the Tobacco sampler and was not disappointed as I usually find a flavor or two that I’m not to impressed with but that is not the case here!  My favorite is the 555, a smooth tobacco with a hint of a nutty flavor to it.

Bloog is one of the few companies that actually allow their cartomizers to be refilled.  Most companies have a plastic tip glued to the end of the cartomizers preventing customer’s from refilling the cartridges but Bloog has silicone based tips that you can simply pull off allowing you to refill them.  I’ve only seen one other so far that has the same idea, Smokeless Image.bloog-cartomizer

Bloog has definitely lived up to its hype and then some.  I believe that Bloog is an amazing company with amazing batteries and cartomizers and flavors and options and customer service.  If you are considering make the switch to the electronic cigarette then Bloog is a company that you should go to.  I have seen a lot of the bigger and more heavily advertised  companies and compared to Bloog, I think they are lacking in all facets.

Water vapor electronic cigarettes - the best vapor cigarette

water vapor cigarettesWater vapor cigarettes, smokeless cigarettes, electric cigarettes, e-cigs, vapor smokes, there are many names of these new devices, well technically they are an old device redesigned for modern use. Originally developed by Herbert A. Gilbert in 1963. They generally use a battery, and an atomizer (heating element), that vaporizes the e-liquid which are primary a mix of propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycol with some optional nicotine and flavoring. So are they just water vapor? As you can see no..

Understanding the dangers of e-cigarettes are vapor cigarettes safe, bad or harmful

Generally speaking we don’t recommend people to start “vaping” unless you are already smoking tobacco, then it can be a great aid to break your habit of smoking but it’s also been proven attractive to non-smokers such as teens because of the flavorings such as fruits, cappuccino, chocolates, dessert flavors etc. While they are all available in non-nicotine strengths; it’s best not to start as most teens try the nicotine versions and nicotine is highly addictive. While it’s never been proven to be a carcinogen or have any long term effects. We have a longer post on the effects of propylene glycol in electronic cigarettes

What is the best vapor cigarette or e-cigarette

That depends on a couple of factors, here at NCPTSD we review many brands and it’s hard to keep up with all the new ones coming out, while we love one brand one month we may get a new one to review and will recommend the new one more so it’s important to stay up to date by subscribing to our blog and viewing our electronic cigarette brands. Some of the things we look at are

  • Affordability

  • Design

  • Flavor selection and quality

  • Customer service

For the past year we have recommended Bull smoke for the budget conscious, V2 cigs for average person, Green Smoke for the people looking for refined flavorings but vapor zone has been our #1 currently as I write this for their vast selection of quality vapor devices and e-liquid selections.

where to buy vapor cigarettes and reviews

You can just about buy e-cigs about anywhere such as you local shops and gas stations, but most of them are non-nicotine. You generally have to shop on-line to get better prices and for different nicotine strengths. Usually the levels of nicotine can be from 0%, 9%, 18% and 24% and each brand has a variation of those strengths.

The recommended quality brands we trust are

Vapor zone

V2 Cigs

Bull Smoke

Green Smoke

South Beach Smoke

Where can I get a vapor cigarette free trial and shipping

Currently we know of a couple of good companies that have free trials

We wouldn’t recommend any other two companies for free trials currently as these are made in the US and others are in China and aren’t as trustworthy.

propylene glycol in electronic cigarettes - Safety and health risks

Todays modern e-cigarette cartrdiges or e-liquids are is composed of primary propylene glycol. General at 80% and in some brands as high as 92%. This is how e-cigs get the vapor that looks like cigarette smoke when exhaled from the lungs.

PG for short, is practically odorless, colorless and has  a syrup like density that comes from a natural gas. It is very common and is found in many products around your home. There are a lot of websites out there promoting natural products that are trying to claim PG is a bad for you but it is completely safe according to the FDA. Whether it’s completely safe for inhalation on a daily basis is probably not 100% safe but considering the alternative of tobacco and it’s 2000 known chemicals; it’s the safer of the two.
Here’s some of the other products it is found in:PG in pharma products

  • Cake mixes

  • salad dressings

  • soft drinks

  • popcorn

  • food colorings

  • fat-free ice cream

  • sour cream

  • preservative for freezing foods

  • baby wipes

  • Pet food

  • Asthma inhalers

  • antiperspirants

  • cosmetics – lipsick

  • lubricants

  • non-toxic automotive antifreezes

Propylene Glycol Studies

The following is the abstract from a study done by the following doctors: O. H. ROBERTSON, CLAYTON G. LOOSLI, THEODORE T. PUCK, HENRY WISE, HENRY M. LEMON and WILLIAM LESTER, JR. It is entitled: TESTS FOR THE CHRONIC TOXICITY OF PROPYLEXE GLYCOL AND TRIETHYLENE GLYCOL ON MONKEYS AND RATS BY VAPOR INHALATION AND ORAL ADMINISTRATION -

“With a view to determining the safety of employing the vapors of propylene glycol and triethylene glycol in atmospheres inhabited by human beings, monkeys and rats were exposed continuously to high concentrations of these vapors for periods of 12 to 18 months. Equal numbers of control animals were maintained under physically similar conditions. Long term tests of the effects on ingesting triethylene glycol were also carried out. The doses administered represented 50 to 700 times the amount of glycol the animal could absorb by breathing air saturated with the glycol.

Comparative observations on the growth rates, blood counts, urine examinations, kidney function tests, fertility and general condition of the test and control groups, exhibited no essential differences between them with the exception that the rats in the glycol atmospheres exhibited consistently higher weight gains. Some drying of the skin of the monkeys’ faces occurred after several months continuous exposure to a heavy fog of triethylene glycol. However, when the vapor concentration was maintained just below saturation by means of the glycostat this effect did not occur.

Examination at autopsy likewise failed to reveal any differences between the animals kept in glycolized air and those living in the ordinary room atmosphere. Extensive histological study of the lungs was made to ascertain whether the glycol had produced any generalized or local irritation. None was found. The kidneys, liver, spleen and bone marrow also were normal.

The results of these experiments in conjunction with the absence of any observed ill effects in patients exposed to both triethylene glycol and propylene glycol vapors for months at a time, provide assurance that air containing these vapors in amounts up to the saturation point is completely harmless.  source . http://jpet.aspetjournals.org/content/91/1/52.abstract

Allergies & possible side effects

There are very low risks of being allergic to PG but in the rare cases of people who cannot tolerate PG experience a special form of irritation, but that they only rarely develop allergic contact dermatitis. Patients with eczema have a slighter risk of having a reaction but it’s only slightly about 2%. The few people who have an irritation towards propylene glycol have found success using Vegetable glycerin as an alternate to propylene glycol in their e-cigarette.

source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol#Allergic_reaction

Side effects

There are very few side effects from the inhalation of electronic cigarettes or e-liquid. Some of the sides I experience at first were dry mouth and some mild head aches from inhaling too often. Most of the side effects are the ones you get from quitting tobacco such as bad breath, constipation, appetite increase, stomach pain, breakouts, insomnia, depression, gas, vertigo. These will be reduced by switching to an e-cig as your nicotine levels will only slightly drop at first.

South Beach Smoke Air Starter kit

southbeachair southbeachairpackageAlight so today we got something new just out of the popular South Beach Smoke. They just introduced a E-Liquid device using a long lasting respectable 350 mAh battery while fitting inside your hand being only 4 inches long.

While I’m still waiting for this device to do a full review, I can tell it should impress as I’m a big fan of e-liquids. Mostly because I ‘m not limited to using just one companies juices and they last a lot longer.  So we’ll update this review when it’s in. I’ll be comparing it to a lot of the ego devices out there that I love so much.

Vapor Zone Pro Starter Kit Review

Vapor Zone, 1 of 4 sister companies of the International Vapor Group (South Beach Smoke, Ever Smoke, and NutriCigs), I was surprised that their name has not come up more within the electronic cigarette industry.  I ran across this company when looking into e-liquids offered by Ever Smoke and saw that they offered quite a variety of vaporizers and e-liquids but I was weary because I haven’t heard much about the company.  I wondered if it was because it was not a good product or they had a bad rep?  So, I thought I would put that to the test and try out the Vapor Zone Pro Starter Kit!

What’s InsideVaporZone-Pro-Kit

  • 1 650 mAh, 3.7V battery

  • 1 Pro-L Cartomizer

  • 1 USB Charging Cable

  • 1 Wall Charging Adapter

  • 3 Additional Atomizers

  • 1 User Manual

  • 1 Membership Card

The Vapor Zone Pro Kit set me back $49.99 plus shipping plus the e-liquid, for a total of $80.

I have to say that I do like there presentation, everything was neatly organized and secure.

For this price though I would like to have seen two of Vapor Zone’s 650 mAh 3.7V battery, which will last about 6-7 hours between charges or one 900 mAh battery.  The battery itself is not a bad battery, it lasts long but is a bit heavier then the Apollo eGo but if you don’t mind that, it is a good battery.

You’ll also get 3 additional atomizers which is nice but I would like to have additional cartomizers so that I can switch between different flavors and the 3 atomizers don’t really help me out but having replacement atomizers is good since these things do burn out and need replacing now and again.

The Membership Card will get you 10% off purchases, member-exclusive deals, and automated deliveries of refills.  You can always choose to opt out of the program but it won’t cost you anything to keep it going and the automated deliveries is completely customizable so that it will match your needs.

Vapor Zone’s e-liquids are American-made with only the top-rated glycerin that is kosher and with all their formulas registered with the FDA, it’s nice to know that you’re smoking quality e-liquid.

Battery life and performance

Vapor Zone’s Pro battery is a 3.7V 650 mAh battery that uses the standard 510 threading allowing you to swap or upgrade cartomizers, batteries, which ever works.  The battery is just a mere 92 mm in length and comes in 10 different colors but you’ll have to order separately if you want something other then the black battery as that is the standard color you’ll get in the kit.

Vapor Zone battery

Of course this battery is not going to last as long as the Apollo eGo battery but it will provide you with about 6 or 7 hours of usage which is still plenty of puffs for any vapor user.

With Vapor Zone’s Pro-L cartomizer it holds only 1.5 ml of e-liquid which gives roughly 400 puffs and since you only get one cartomizer you might want to pick up an extra one to swap back and forth between flavors or simply as a back up, your call.  Other option of course is to upgrade your cartomizer to the Vapor Zone CLEAR Cartomizer which holds 2.5 ml or what ever you prefer, what ever you choose Vapor Zone does have the option.

The Vapor Zone Pro battery is a manual and also comes with the feature to turn your battery on or off so that you don’t accidentally hit the button while it’s in your pocket or purse.  Definitely an awesome feature since you don’t want to burn out your investment.

Vapor and Throat hit

The Vapor Zone produces a good vapor when setup with the Pro-L cartomizer.  I have to admit, it is not as impressive as the Apollo eGo since it only has a 3.7 volt battery unlike the eGo which is a 3.3-4.2 volt battery.  Now this doesn’t mean it isn’t a nice rich vapor because it is definitely a nice vape with a very decent cloud.

The vape hit is also a little smoother because of the design of the Pro-L is a bottom heating coil which allows it to give you a smoother hit, so if you are looking for a smoother throat hit this might be the product you’re looking for

Flavors

Vapor Zone flavorsVapor Zone offers the “very best American-made e-liquids” and with 70+ flavors, yup, 70+ flavors to choose from, you’ll definitely have lots of options to choose from.  Not only that, Vapor Zone allows you to mix it up by creating your own flavor blend.  Their “Vapologists” will make any combination you want, so if their 70+ flavors are not what you’re looking for, you can make your own!

Vapor Zone uses top-rated, kosher grade glycerin and with labs and formulas registered with the FDA, you know you’re getting quality product.

Wrapping it up

I have to say that overall Vapor Zone does offer a good product and at a reasonable price.  Even though I had pay for shipping and purchase my e-liquid separately, it is not a big deal for the product I got.

With about a dozen or so store locations in Florida.  A neat, professional, and organized website that user-friendly and easy to use.  American-made e-liquids and products.  I would definitely recommend Vapor Zone to anyone, weather you are new to vaping or looking for something that is a step up from the traditional KR808 batteries and cartridges.

I can’t see any reason why this company won’t be one of the top electronic cigarette providers soon.

Apollo Superior eGo Kit Review

Apollo is a name that you will come across in the vaping community.  I’ve been vaping for some time now and I thought I would test out Apollo’s Superior eGo Kit.  With Apollo’s own R&D and manufacturing facilities producing their electronic cigarettes and e-juices, I thought I would give them a try to see if their home-made stuff is all it’s cracked up to be.  I’ll put that to the test in this review.

What’s InsideApollo kit

  • 2 Apollo Superior eGo Batteries

  • 2 CE4 Clearomizers

  • 1 10ml bottle

  • 1 USB charger

  • 1 wall adapter

  • 1 Lanyard carry pouch

  • 1 instruction manual

The price tag on this kit is $69.95.  Not a bad price at all! Unlike other electronic cigarettes, the Apollo eGo batteries last for about 9 hours and come in 8 different color options.  Now granted the Apollo eGo battery doesn’t look like the traditional cigarette, it’s slightly larger at 14mm x 143.5mm.  If you can get over that fact, then the Apollo batteries dwarfs its competition in usage time.

I normally like to have some kind of PCC (Portable Charging Case) but in this case, with each battery you can get about 9 hours of use so I don’t have to switch batteries every few hours.  Plenty of usage time for me and I am a heavy vapor and I use to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day!

Apollo ecig

Apollo indicates that this kit is for intermediate users, true, but I can see this as being an awesome kit for even a new user.  It is easy to use and setup and produces an amazing vapor and with plenty of flavors to choose from, you first experience should be great with Apollo.

Apollo’s e-juices are all produced in their own manufacturing facilities allowing them to provide quality products at amazing prices.

Battery life and performance

batteriesApollo’s 3.3V – 4.2V 900 mAh batteries use the standard 510 threading which allow users to use standard cartomizers or even switch to larger clearomizers.

The eGo batteries allow users roughly 9 hours of use, that’s about 800-1000 puffs.  The CE4 clearomizers hold 1.6 mL of E-Liquid which is roughly 400 puffs, thankfully you get two in the kit.

Now the eGo batteries are larger then the KR808Ds that V2 Cigs or South Beach Smoke use but they do last much longer and still fit fine in your pocket.  The eGo batteries are manual batteries so you will need to hold down the button when taking a puff.  Something that I was concerned about was “what if when the eGo is in my pocket I hit the button by accident?”  Thankfully the eGo has a on/off feature that users can activate by repeatedly pressing the button 5 times to turn the eGo battery on or off.

sampler

Vapor and Throat hit

The vapor produced from the eGo is amazing.  When setup with the CE4 clearomizer you get an amazing, luscious vape, thanks to the 3.3V – 4.2V eGo battery.

You get a nice throat hit because of the design of clearomizer. There are other clearomizers where the heating coil is placed at the bottom thus producing a lighter throat hit.

In my opinion this is the perfect setup for me but if you do like a smoother throat hit you can purchase clearomizer from Apollo, where the heating coil is on the bottom, thus allowing for a smoother throat hit.  You’ll also find that they have many other accessories that are compatible with the eGo.

Flavors

At Apollo’s manufacturing facility they feature a 60/40 PG/VG ratio that is USP Grade.  Their e-juices are kosher and made with food safe ingredients and 99% laboratory grade nicotine, so no need to worry about what you’ll be smoking!

With 29 different flavors to choose from, Apollo offers customers the ability to purchase e-liquid bottles seperately or as a sampler pack, pricing ranging from just $6.95 a bottle to a 10 pack sampler for just $19.95!

Bull Smoke Review

Joanna“More Vapor. No Bull” is the famous tag-line of Bull Smoke. If you haven’t heard of them, now you have!  Millions world-wide are switching to electronic cigarettes, but is Bull Smoke worth it?  With a rewards program for customers, a clever marketing gimmick and slogan and even having a “celebrity”, Joanna Rohrback (viral video, Prancercise), endorse their product.  I thought I would try out the City Slicker Kit from Bull Smoke and put it to the test in this review.

What’s Inside

  • The Stubby Battery

  • The Kentucky Battery

  • 10 Atomized Cartridges

  • 1 Wall Adaptor

  • 1 USB Express Charger

  • 1 Owners Manual

City-Slicker

This kit folks only costs $29.95.  This is one of the cheapest and well stacked kits that have found but don’t think that because they cheap that you are getting a sub-standard product.  In fact you are getting a product that is comparable to GreenSmoke or Eversmoke.  In fact, a little birdy told me that Bull Smoke actually gets their supplies from V2 Cigs, which is #1 in America.  Bull Smoke may not be #1 but with this price and the decent selection of flavors, you are definitely getting the best bang-for-your-buck!

Unlike Green Smoke or Ever Smoke, at this price you’ll only get 1 battery in their kits, while Bull Smoke will give you 2 batteries. In this kit you’ll get the the batteries in the standard black option, there are other colors to choose from but you’ll have to purchase them separately or choose the other kit.  The Stubby will be a manual battery and the Kentucky will be an automatic giving new customer the perfect opportunity to see which type of battery they prefer.

You’ll also get a USB charger and a wall charger.  Pretty standard these days but a couple years ago that was not the case.  You would have to buy a USB charger on top of your starter kit, glad those days are over!

You’ll also get 10 assorted cartridges so that you can try all of Bull Smoke’s flavors and you can always add-on additional cartridges for only $12.95 per 5-pack which is a reasonable price.

With this bold Bull Smoke brand you’ll get quality American engineered batteries and cartridges so you have the peace of mind that what you’re smoking is home-made, all at amazing bargain!

Battery life and performance

Bull Smoke uses the popular battery model KR808D.  Bull Smoke has 3 available sizes to choose from all available in automatic or manual with 4 different color options (white, black, chrome, and yellow). The Stubby battery is just 65mm in length which is comparable to a king size cigarette which produces roughly 150 puffs between each charge.  The Original battery is 79mm long uses the same standard 4.2 volt battery which yields roughly 250 puffs per charge.  The Kentucky is the biggest and longest lasting option from Bull Smoke at 110mm in length and produces roughly 320 puffs per charge.

The other thing that V2 has done that sets them apart from the rest is unlike the conventional KR808 which is 3.7 volts.  V2 Cigs batteries are 4.2 volts providing customers with not only a richer vapor by providing a hotter vape but also more of it.  On top of that, V2 Cigs are sealed, providing better protection against the e-liquid leaking from cartomizers.

Bull Smoke will also include a 1 year warranty on all their batteries which is a nice added feature to protect your investment.

Vapor and Throat hit

Bull Smoke produces a nice rich and dense vapor thanks to its 4.2 volt battery.  I wouldn’t expect any less considering they are using the same supplies as V2 cigs.

The throat hit I have to say is pretty good.  Not really surprised that it was similar to V2 cigs.  What was a nice option was switching back and forth between the automatic and manual battery so that I could control the amount of vapor.

Flavors

Bull Smoke has what seems to be the standard 10 flavors to choose from.  It’s nice to see that there is a sampler pack available as some companies (Green Smoke)  don’t offer the option.

So far I have tried the American Ranger, Sweet Vanilla, Cherry Blast and the Coffee Roast and so far I have to say my favorite is the Coffee Roast but that is just my opinion, you don’t have to listen to me … but you should. :)Cartomizers

EverSmoke Review

I found an interesting tidbit about EverSmoke, it’s actually the sister company of South Beach Smoke.    I thought South Beach Smoke was alright so I thought why not test this out to see if it is a better alternative.  With a reputation like South Beach Smoke, this company has the bar set high for it and I’ll put that to the test in this review.

What’s Inside

  • 1 Standard Capacity Battery

  • 1 Extra Capacity Battery

  • 1 Power Cig

  • 1 Portable Wall Charger

  • 1 USB Charger

  • 1 Car Charging Adapter

  • 10 Large Nicotine Cartridges/Atomizers

The Pro Starter Kit will cost you $79.99 not bad for an upgraded starter kit.

Pro Kit

There isn’t really a big difference between what items you get in the SBS kit and the EverSmoke kit but there is a couple things that are different.

The batteries of the EverSmoke don’t have SBS’s trademark SuperMAX Lithiom Ion Batteries so you won’t be getting the same amount of puffs.  The Standard Capacity of EverSmoke only gives you about 250 puffs and the Extra-Capacity gives you about 350 puffs, a pale comparison to SBS’s batteries and it comes in stainless steel, white or black.

Everything else in this kit is pretty much the same as SBS, except it has the EverSmoke logo.

Battery life and performancebattery

EverSmoke uses the same popular battery model KR808D.  The High-Capacity battery is 118 mm long and produces roughly 350 puffs while the Standard Capacity battery is slightly shorter at only 110 mm long and gives customers 250 puffs.  Which is comparable to V2 Cigs or GreenSmoke.

Vapor and Throat hit

Since EverSmoke is the sister company of SBS you would expect their vapor production and throat hit to be just as good, well, they did not disappoint!  Using the same 4.2V KR808 batteries I don’t see why it would have been any different.  There is only one considerable difference and that is EverSmoke doesn’t have the SuperMAX battery and thus you won’t get as much vapes between each charge.

Flavors

EverSmoke only has 10 flavors to choose from which is not a lot. They do have a sample pack that would allow you to try all of their flavors if you aren’t sure of what you like.sampler

  • Classic Tobacco Flavor

  • Royal Tobacco Flavor

  • Golden Tobacco Flavor

  • Cool Menthol Flavor

  • Peppermint Party

  • Very Vanilla Flavor

  • Coffee Creation Flavor

  • Cherry Crush Flavor

  • Peach Passion Flavor

  • Pina Colada Flavor

Wrapping it up

I would have to say EverSmoke is not bad but compared to it’s sister company, it just isn’t there yet.  With less flavor choices and just standard batteries that doesn’t really set them apart from the rest.  If you liked South Beach Smoke I don’t really see a reason to jump ship for EverSmoke, except for maybe its price.

The Good

  • Affordability

  • Vapor quality and density

Bad

  • Incompatible batteries

  • Cartridges are available only in 15-30-45 packs
